I know, it is a cliche but it is really relevant.
Creative design industries like copywriting are notoriously undervalued for their processes and that is why many businesses will baulk a little at the quotes they receive.
I have had colleagues charge as much as €2000 for a single landing page and others charge as little as €250.
Some copywriters will charge per hour but this can make it really hard to judge your final costs as a client.
Projects notoriously run over time, need more edits than first thought and the discovery/research portions of most copy projects take up far more time than you may realise.

Each project is incredibly individual as a client, this is why I will always tell anyone who will listen to be a little wary of copywriters who sell flat fee packages that don’t alter in cost.
Yes, it’s great to see a package cost on a copywriter's website without even having to talk to them but you are likely dabbling with a copywriter who has yet to understand the nuances each project brings and how custom they need to be.
